The airfield is non-PPR and has no operations manager. Therefore, it is particularly important to make blind calls on approach and to self-manage the operating runway. (Windsock in the middle of the runway on the southern edge of the runway)
Watch out for other aircraft in the circuit; occasional training activities take place. A flight plan is no longer required for VFR flights to and from the Czech Republic.
Hatě Excalibur Airport does not charge landing fees; parking is free (marked parking area west of the hangars). Hotels, casinos, restaurants, and shopping facilities are within a few minutes' walk, and there is also a gas station on the premises, although not directly at the airport. Free hangar spaces for temporary hangaring are available upon request.
